Bob Romeo

Bob Romeo joined Anaqua in 2015 as CEO to lead Anaqua's growth strategies. Prior to Anaqua, Bob served as CEO of LexisNexis, Research & Litigation Solutions (RLS) and spent 20 years in various senior executive positions with Thomson Reuters as both CFO and SVP of Operations. Bob brings over 25 years of leadership experience in the information, software and services industry. Bob's expertise is in investing for growth, bringing software & services businesses through customer-led transformations to become industry leaders in client satisfaction. Bob is a non-practicing member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.


Justin Crotty

Justin joins Anaqua from Oliver Wyman where he was a partner advising private equity and strategic clients on growth and M&A initiatives involving software, information and services businesses. Prior to his leadership roles in strategy consulting, he worked in private equity, investment banking and corporate development and has experience working in the US, Europe and Asia. He holds a Bachelor’s degree with honors from Brown University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University where he was a Citigroup Scholar.


Jack Morgan

Jack Morgan has over 20 years of experience leading and growing high performance teams in software, IT professional services and general business services organizations. He is responsible for Anaqua’s Global IT strategy for both Corporate and Cloud Services. Jack joined Anaqua from M|C Communications. As CIO at M|C, Jack was responsible for internal and customer-facing technology initiatives, he lead the company through a period of rapid growth, acquisitions and global expansion. Prior to M|C, Jack was a Managing Partner at AGENCY.COM and Quadris Consulting where he managed US consulting operations and led teams in the delivery of information technology and internet business solutions to fortune 500 companies.

Denise Cheung

Denise is Vice President of Product Management, working with all internal and external stakeholders to shape and define Anaqua's product offerings. Denise joined Anaqua in 2005 as Client Director for key Anaqua clients.Prior to Anaqua, Denise was with American Management Systems, where she was responsible for consulting engagements, large-scale software design, and implementations at leading financial services companies.

VP of Sales, Europe

Jonathan Newcombe

Jonathan joined Anaqua in 2010 as the VP of Sales for Anaqua's European and Japanese software markets. Jonathan has over 15 years of experience in the IP software and services sector, and has been key in developing Anaqua's presence throughout Europe and Japan. Prior to that, Jonathan held sales leadership roles at CPA Global, working in both the IP corporate and legal sectors.

Vincent Brault

Vincent has 20 years of experience in the IP management software and services market. At Anaqua, Vincent is responsible for leading the US sales team and managed the integration of Anaqua's annuity payment operations. Prior to joining Anaqua in 2009, he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Vice President of Business Development US and for eight years lead software development and client implementation services for CPA.

Melissa Rose

Melissa joined Anaqua in 2015 from Amadeus, a rapidly-expanding global travel software company headquartered in Madrid. Melissa has over 20 years of experience as a strategic HR leader. Melissa has extensive experience in change management, organizational design, executive leadership development and building high performance teams and talent acquisition. Her past experience includes HR leadership roles in law firms and digital media agencies.

President of ANAQUA Services

Christine Jennings

Christine joins Anaqua from IP Preferential, an IP consultancy that she founded in 2013 with a focus on delivering change management and procurement projects to IP owners and IP law firms. Previously she spent 15 years in senior positions at CPA Global, where she began managing the trademark teams and ultimately took on the role of General Manager for the patent business. Christine began in the trademark department of a full service IP law firm. She holds an LL.B (Hons) from University of London.

General Manager Asia Pacific

Karen Taylor

Karen Taylor serves as the General Manager of Asia Pacific. In this capacity, she manages all business development across Asia Pacific and strengthen Anaqua’s growing portfolio of client accounts. Based in Hong Kong, Karen will lead personnel across the region and drive sales and marketing activities and strategic partnerships in Asia Pacific.

Karen joins Anaqua with over 15 years of experience in the online information and data industry across Europe and Asia, having worked in the United Kingdom, Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Hong Kong and Japan. Karen previously served as an Executive Director with LexisNexis Asia and as a Director with Thomson Reuters, where she specialized in strategic business development, mergers and acquisitions, organic investment into high growth markets, and digital content and product development. In addition, Karen has a broad range of operational experience including profit and loss management and sales and marketing leadership. She is currently Chair of Justice Centre Hong Kong in a volunteer capacity.

Scott Shaunessy

Scott Shaunessy has 20+ years of experience as an executive in both Business-to-Business and Consumer-facing businesses. Expert in best practices for Business Development and Licensing, Venture Investing, Acquisition and R&D Collaboration processes in the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Biotech, Nutrition, Healthcare and Consumer Products industries. Also a thought leader in best practices in the newly evolving space of Clinical Trial Data Transparency for large and mid-sized Pharmaceutical and Biotech companies.

Before management career, spent eight years as a professional hockey player in the National Hockey League and American Hockey League. Received BS from Boston University.

Erik Reeves has 20+ years of experience in the Intellectual Property and Innovation field. Erik is a recognized thought leader on Patent Search & Patent Landscaping, IP Ecosystem Modeling and Big Data Strategy. As the Co-Founder and creator of AcclaimIP and, Erik has provided innovative tools that set a new bar for usability and speed in the IP industry. Erik works tirelessly to realize his vision of a more integrated, transparent, and agile patent information marketplace.

Alexandra Letts

Alexandra (Lexi) Letts joined Anaqua in 2013 bringing extensive experience leveraging legal expertise and business acumen to drive growth, protect Intellectual Property, minimize risk and assure compliance. Prior to joining Anaqua, Lexi was the sole legal counsel of Microfluidics International Corporation and led the company through its acquisition by IDEX Corporation, a highly innovative multi-billion dollar corporation. Lexi was promoted to the IDEX legal team supporting the General Counsel in its high growth M&A activity and the Deputy General Counsel in all other legal matters.
