Tokyo Electron Picks Anaqua 9 Ip Management

Tokyo Electron (TEL), a global producer of innovative semiconductor and flat panel display equipment, has selected ANAQUA 9 software as a complete intellectual property (IP) management solution for its patents and inventions.

ANAQUA 9, which was chosen by TEL to replace its previous IP management database, will provide real-time data analytics, and IP forecasting, which will enable them to better align their IP with their business strategy.

Additionally, the software will provide TEL with an inventor portal that makes it easy for the company’s investors to submit ideas and drive patent portfolio development.

TEL has headquarters in both Tokyo and Austin, and the new platform will enable its entire IP team to access the same system from wherever they are based and will offer full support in multiple languages.

Eric Strang, director of IP at Tokyo Electron US Holdings, said: “For the first time in our company’s history, we are excited to have global access to a common platform and capability, provided by ANAQUA 9, hosting our IP data and business processes that promote global collaboration, productivity gains, and sophisticated data analytics that elevates our ability to manage our IP asset.”

Anaqua CEO Bob Romeo added: “We are honored to be selected by yet another world-leading Japanese company to provide the integrated software and services that will enable them to manage their IP operations and strategy in a holistic fashion.”

“TEL has established themselves as one of the most innovative companies in their field, and ANAQUA 9 will help IP portfolio managers at TEL ensure they maximise the value of their IP assets.”
